BEGINNER/ADVANCE with Mark Giangaspero– From traditional to experimental, this class will explore your understanding of conveying three dimensions. Under the guidance of Mark Giangaspero, students will work independently and are encouraged to experiment and explore known and new techniques. All mediums are welcome within this course as teaching will be based on individual instruction. This course can be utilized as a starting point or as a continuation of previous learning experiences. *This class will work from a live clothed model. Class price does not change if the student desires to not utilize the model or due to model availability.

Mark Giangaspero Biography

Mark Giangaspero studied and taught visual arts under the late Jack Richards until Mr. Richards’ passing in 2014.  Mark has taught drawing and painting classes (in a variety of media) at CVAC over the past six years. He has shown his work in such prestigious galleries as the McDonough Museum (Youngstown State University), Viewpoints at the Cincinnati Art Club, the National Arts Club in New York and the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown where his pieces, Mr. Richardson and Portrait of Chris, are held in the Institute’s permanent collection.
